"In modern times, our generation doesn’t remember how devastating the effects of these infectious diseases were… the fear of the harmful effects of vaccines sometimes feels more immediate than the harmful effects of the diseases themselves."

Conclusion

Compulsory vaccination laws can have an impact during a major health crisis. However, these laws give the government power over people’s bodies, allowing them to use this power after a crisis has passed. Vaccination should be encouraged to protect public health, and citizens are responsible for protecting each other. Even though vaccination brought about a new era of healthcare, it also changed the balance of power between people’s rights and the government’s powers.
